Bourbon Enterprise

For our client Bourbon, SMST is building and delivering a series of knuckleboom cranes of 40 tons capacity. The cranes are equipped with deepwater winches for subsea installations and Active Heave Compensation to increase the vessel’s workability. The cranes have double-drive hydraulic power units installed in the pedestal to increase redundancy if a power failure occurs in one or two units. The capacity of the cranes is 15 tons at 21 meters outreach or 40 tons at 9 meters outreach. The hoist is also rated for manriding operations. The winch has a wire capacity of a maximum 3000 meters of steel wire.
